Miris Calibration Control Kit™ 

Miris is leading the way in standardizing the process of human milk analysis for individual nutrition of preterm babies: This proprietary standard solution Miris Calibration Control Kit has been developed to allow for control of the internal calibration of the HMA instrument.

Miris Calibration Control Kit is a consumable to be used as a control of ‘Calibration 1 - Homogenized milk’ in the Miris Human Milk Analyzer (HMA).

Miris Calibration Control Kit consists of two different concentrations of a standard solution: Miris Calibration Control 1  and Miris Calibration Control 2.These are standardized solutions with known concentrations of fat, protein and carbohydrates that correspond to those found in average human milk and the high end of the Miris Human Milk Analyzer measuring range.

The Miris Calibration Control Kit is CE-marked and will be mandatory to use prior to analysis of human milk with the medical device classed Miris HMA. With Miris Calibration Control Kit, Miris introduces another standardization in the process of analyzing human milk for individual nutrition of preterm babies. Together with Miris Ultrasonic Processor and Miris Heater, Miris Calibration Control Kit represents the most important supporting products needed for a controlled and reproducible analysis with Miris HMA.

 

 

 

Miris Check™

For zero setting the Miris Human Milk Analyzer, and control that cleaning has been done successfully

Application: Only for validation of the preset internal calibration of the Miris HMA.

Storage: Store the concentrate dark, at room temperature (20-30°C, 68-86°F), sealed in container in which it is supplied. Store the diluted solution in glass or plastic containers, out of direct sunlight. Keep away from foodstuff and animal feed.

Instructions: Dilute 10 ml concentrate (1 tube) with 90 ml distilled or deionized water and mix. Warm to 40°C (104°F) before use. The estimated time for preparation is 15 minutes for mixing the ingredients and to warm the solution to 40°C (104°F). The solution is to be used when preparing the instrument for analysis and also after cleaning if analysis is continued.

 

 

 

Miris Cleaner™

A cleaning solution for the Miris Human Milk Analyzer

Application: Only for cleaning of the Miris HMA cuvette and surface of the instrument. For in vitro diagnostic use.

Storage: Store the concentrate dark, at room temperature (20-30°C), sealed in the contain- er in which it is supplied. Store the diluted solution in glass or plastic containers, out of direct sunlight. Keep away from foodstuff and animal feed.

Instructions: Dilute 50 ml concentrate (1 tube) with 950 ml distilled or deionized water and mix. Warm to 40° C before use and follow the instructions in Chapter 3.

 

 

Tubes & Syringes

Miris tubes 5ml

A 5ml tube that fits in the tube holder supplied with Miris Ultrasonic Processor. The tubes can be used throughout the Milk Analysis process ea. storage, warming and homogenization.

 

Miris tubes 10 ml

A freestanding 10ml tube with a screw lid tube that fits in the tube holder supplied with Miris Ultrasonic Processor. The tubes can be used throughout the Milk Analysis process ea. storage, warming and homogenization.

 

Miris syringes 2 ml

Syringes are used to inject milk samples and solutions in to the Miris HMA.
